Seger Silver Bullet
Bob Seger developed into one of the heart the most popular rocker in the 70s. Originally a rock to beat you in the vein of fellow Michigan garage rockers the rational and Mitch Ryder. Success in creating a unique sound of America, which is the combination of the load driving Stonesy Ryder Detroit Wheels with garage rock and devotion to hard-edged soul and R & B (http://events.ixs.net/RB-Soul.aspx). Despite the missed opportunities of the early years of his career, Seger finally achieved a national audience in 1976 with back-to-back release of his albums Live Bullet and Night Moves. Both albums were excellent success Seger who helped keep his popularity for the next two decades, releasing seven Top Ten, selling platinum albums in a row.
Seger showed their interest in music at a young age. He started playing music in 1961 as leader based in Detroit, the trio of decibels, his future manager, Eddie "Punch" Andrews was also a member of the band. Moving Ann Arbor, played with hawkers before he became the pianist and singer Doug Brown and omens. The band released "The Ballad of the Yellow Berets" which is a parody of Sgt. Barry Sadler "The song of the Ballad of Green Berets." However, there has been a failure for them when Sadler threatened a lawsuit cons song.Resultantly this, the single was withdrawn shortly after its release.
The Seger solo single was "East Side Story, which was published in 1966. This song won great popularity and soon became a regional hit. Many other local successes followed in the Cameo label, including "Persecution Smith" and "Heavy Music" before his label folded. The year 1968 was very important in Bob Seger's career, this year, successfully formed the Bob Seger System and have had a golden opportunity to sign with the famous Capitol Records. Their first album, Ramblin 'Gamblin' Man, was released by Capitol Records in spring of this year's final. The title song reached a great success and became a national success, peaking at number 17.
Seger has made a commercial breakthrough with their album Night Moves, 1976, which included several hits including the title song very evocative. Night Moves became a blockbuster, generating the singles "Night Moves", "Main Street" and "Rock & Roll never forgets." Stranger in Town, released in summer 1978, was such a success, which includes the hits "Still the Same," "Hollywood Nights" "We've Got Tonight" and "Old Time Rock & Roll." Their best known songs are almost certainly "Old Time Rock & Roll" (in Featured in the film Risky Business) and "Like a Rock" (more familiar to Americans, many young people through his association with a major advertising campaign for the Chevrolet brand). Seger also co-wrote the Eagles # 1 Song "Heartache Tonight" from his 1979 album The Long Run.
In light of its greatest hits, Seger has been recognized as More Rockers U.S. popular. Seger's next album, 1980 Against the Wind, became his first number one album and all their hits - "Fire Lake" Against the Wind "," Tu me Accomp'ny "- were ballads. The live album Nine Tonight continued his multi-platinum 1981, selling three million copies and peaking at number three.
Seger released his popular album following "The Distance" In The Distance featured 1982.While "Shame On The Moon" his most successful single to date, had a record of selling one million copies of its shows unparalleled popularity.Seger have also begun to reduce drastically their recording and touring schedules - just released an album of other 1986 as a rock in the 80s. Four years after his release, he returned with The Fire Inside. Although the album was certified platinum and reached the Top Ten, which does call for Seger devoted disciples, as it did in 1995, is a mystery, which became his first live album Bullet cease to go platinum, leveling off in a state of gold.
In 2004, Seger was working on his new album in 10 years, titled Face the Promise, which was launched September 12, 2006. The first single, "Wait For Me", landed on the radio in July.
The Encyclopedia of Rock and Roll said: "Your throat, the transfer of authority is a pleasure to hear, and the Silver Bullet Band is excellent. "

Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band?
I saw them in concert a few weeks ago and I thought it was great. They arrived to 8 and sang until almost midnight, not bad for a man thats 62. Someone else has seen and what you think?
Bob Seger has existed since I was in high school, thats been 26 years. Wow, what a guy, when problems with his throat and had Tickets for this concert has been canceled, but I'm sure he put on a great show. Lucky for the chance to see a legend in concert
