Rudolph Red

Who was the first singer who has heard him sing, "Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer"?
My first was Gene Autry, the singing cowboy, and I think it was the radio, WSMB, The Grand Old Opery, Nashville.
Gene Autry was the first to record the song in 1949 (see paragraph 6 below), Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (the story) Original Media: Publicity push: Montgomery Ward Department Stores First appearance: 1939 Artists: Robert L. May (writer) and Denver Gillen (artist) 1) You know Dasher, Dancer, etc., as the song says ... and for the past decades, which saw Rudolph too. He became so familiar part of the Christmas scene, like his contemporaries, elves, many people are not even aware that dates back only early 20th century and the middle. Rudolph began as an attempt to promote a chain of stores. 2) In 1939, Montgomery Ward, which was a gift every Christmas coloring books for years, decided to produce their promotional gift at home. Robert L. May, who worked as an editor advertising, has been commissioned to write a story for young readers, and the result was Rudolph. May was based on some of its own childhood experiences as a sick child that other children sometimes said, the boat's history an elected official, the boy who was good, to prosper as a result they attribute to other jokes. 3) Thomas's story, written in rhyming couplets, successfully his first test with flying colors, the advertising department of Montgomery Ward initially chose not to continue the trial in May 4 year old daughter, who had read the story aloud as he writes. Drunk hit the red nose, they said, which makes them inappropriate for a sweet, good father, friendly Christmas story. However, He enlisted in May illustrator Denver Gillen, a colleague in the department of advertising to show how friends can be the father Rudolph. 4) Gillen artwork, the approval is, after all, and the department store chain has distributed 2.4 million copies this year. Millions others were delivered in the years to come. 5) Rodolfo came to the big screen in 1944. Max Fleischer, in a rare trade credit after the close of his study, produced an animated version of the story of Rudolph The Jam Handy Organization (a study of Detroit, which is not as well known as those of Hollywood). Who was endless cartoons on television during the 1950s and early 60. Unlike most Rudolph products, which fell to copyright, and is now available in many low-cost video and DVD Short Christmas in the public domain. 6) In 1947, May bargaining Rudolph ownership of property, which until then had been detained solely for Montgomery Ward. Shortly after his brother-in-law, Johnny Marks, wrote the famous song of Rodolfo, first by COWBOY STAR, Gene Autry in 1949. Registration not only sold two million copies that year - which has sold more than $ 150 million in subsequent years. In fact, the song is probably the best known Rodolfo media adaptations.
